Summer Update for Need-A-Break
Let the Sun Shine on Everyone’s Lives!!
Hopefully everybody is enjoying their summer! Here at The Rescue Mission we are busy! In our hospitality area we are reorganizing everything so that the clothing room currently located in the emergency services area will now be located in the donation warehouse starting mid-August! This is so exciting because we will now be able to offer men’s, women’s, AND children’s clothes four days a week! (Currently only offering men’s and women’s clothing on mon. and weds.) So please think of us when cleaning out those closets and dressers before going school clothes shopping for the kiddos.
We want everybody to know just what a difference you make in other people’s lives when you take the time to volunteer or donate items to The Rescue Mission. Without you we wouldn’t be able to help others. Thank you!
Some of the things we are in real need of right now would be men’s deodorant (small trial size is best), diapers (all sizes), razors (men’s and women’s), shampoo and conditioner, and soap. Basically essential toiletry items are always in great demand here. Also, school is about to start again and school supplies are a very welcome donation.
